It’s impossible to discuss any of my festivities without mentioning that I finally got my hands on the Christopher John Rogers x Target collection! When I knew that I was attending the Live Art Market Opening Reception and the Sunset Rendevous Rooftop Series, I knew I had to throw on this immaculate red dress with the Befitting Style Dashing Earrings.
Starting the festivities at the Live Art Market Opening Reception was definitely nostalgic. This day reminded me of when I used to intern as I would unwind regularly at art galleries. Those were definitely some happy times.
The event was curated by Amani Lewis (one of the kindest personalities I’ve ever encountered) who created Celestial Kiki with acrylic, pastel, glitter, and digital collage on canvas. Pieces by 12 other artists are also featured in this exhibit which is open till August 27, 2021. Head over to Live Art Market for more info.
After over-indulging in San Pellegrino (my absolute fave seltzer water), I sashayed in my red Vince Camuto heels to Williamsburg for the Sunset Rendezvous where I danced the evening away with Nova, Alon, Cameron and Natela.
I didn’t even realize how the Brandon Blackwood ESR Bag would be so essential for fun outings until this day. It’s small enough for me to still love it, yet super functional and more spacious than it looks as it can hold plenty of items for it’s small size such as my phone (most of my mini bags could never), polaroid camera, and more.
Red is my color. I don’t believe in sticking to colors you love. I believe in also wearing colors that aren’t your favorite if they favor you. I like red but I’m not in love with it, but my awareness of how much it compliments my entire existence keeps me wearing red often.
