Pink Bathing Suit

I didn’t know what else to title this blog post without calling it what it is. A pink bathing suit. LOL. With hotel prices at an all-time low and flights being cheaper than an uber, some are taking advantage of what could be the only time they could experience an excursion at such a low cost. This week I want to dive into swimwear as well as other summer looks because lets face it! Whether a pandemic is going on or not, its still summer and we’re still going to bask in this warm weather until October so why not rock the fit to enjoy what’s left of summer in style?!

I purchased this pink bathing suit a couple of years ago. It was the last one on the rack, size small and I knew I couldn’t fit it, but I bought it anyway. I’m usually a medium in swimwear but I still bought it anyway relying on the fact that one day I might be able to fit it and if that day never comes, it’s pink so why not just buy it because it’s cute. Sounds ridiculous right? I know.

When I recently threw this bathing suit on, I was shocked that it fit! Wow! This is what made me realize that I’ve really shed a few pounds.

What I love most about this bathing suit is how the pink hue is a gradient of hot pink to baby pink.

It felt great embracing my back muscles with the deep back detailing. I love wearing backless pieces because I work hard during this fitness journey and seeing results feels incredible. But let’s not get it twisted, I also wore backless pieces when I was out of shape. It’s always been important to me to love myself in every stage.

The front detailing is the icing on the cake. Although it slightly accentuated my love handles (which is a body part no woman wants to accentuate), I still wore it anyway.

I hope you’re enjoying what’s left of summer. There’s 34 more days of summer. Make it count.
