Tulle Overboard – Miami Swim Week 2017

If there’s one thing that Wendy Williams and I have in common, it would be the love for tulle. For Day two of Miami Swim Week, I had to bring out one of my style favorites, a tulle skirt (also known as a tutu). I love tulle because it makes me feel so girly and dainty and I believe you are never too old for a tutu. I twirled my way to the Soho Beach House to check out Makalo Swimwear and several others, then off to the Sports Illustrated Swim show afterward.

I kept the same neutral makeup look through out my time in Miami and was able to film a “Get Ready With Me” video in my hotel room. Take a peek at the video above.

This skirt originally came with a mauve sequin crop top but I ended up pairing it with a tulle lined peach clear sequin top. I purchased this top from Victoria’s Secret so it’s possibly a bra but I wore it as a top.

I think I’ll forever love tulle!

Although I’d rather pair this peach ensemble with rose gold accessories, I still opted for a gold Kate Spade structured crossbody bag (which I wore as a clutch) as well as Schutz open-toe heels.
