One of the best feelings about trying on clothes is when it actually ends up looking better than expected. I bought this Free People sweater from Lord & Taylor during their close-out sale (yessss girl I caught that epic discount!). I actually expected nothing of it as I thought it would just look like a regular oversized sweater that I could easily spice up with accessories. Little did I know, that it can be worn as a turtle neck, off the shoulder, and even a one-shoulder top. I love convertible items that I can easily switch up for future looks so this sweater is such a special treat!

I stepped out pairing this super comfy sweater with my favorite pair of white pants. My love for these Zara high waist white pants developed instantly when I laid my eyes on it at the store years ago.
Some pants squeeze my booty or just don’t have a great hip-to-waist ratio. Zara pants always fit me perfectly. Years ago, I realized that Zara knows how to make a pair of pants for a black woman’s body. They understand that we come with curves and the clothes need to exemplify just that.
You know how much I love florals! I had to pair this look with the Befitting Style Florent Earrings.
As for the shoes, I whipped out a pair of Calvin Klein oldie but goodie heels to pair with a Zac Posen peach bag.
I’m just happy spring is here!
What are you reaching for this spring?
