I love wearing bright colors but neutrals also have a special place in my heart. My love for a brown monochrome look is influenced by how amazing it looks on my skin tone! I initially laid my eyes on this brown off-the-shoulder top in Zara while in Los Angeles and to stop impulse shopping, I decided not to get it. Seeing it again in New York was the only sign I needed to purchase it. The best part is it was on sale in New York (a bonus sign) so I copped it and got excited for all the amazing looks I’ll be creating with this gem.
I’ve always loved long sleeve off the shoulder tops. There’s something special about accentuating the clavicle and covering up the arms. It adds a bit more elegance to the look.
I paired this top with brown New York & Company shorts. Sad to hear that they closed down their stores and only focusing on E-Commerce. Over the years, New York & Company has been my go-to whenever I need to pick up a chic piece for my mum who is a plus-size woman.
Whipping out the Befitting Style Twisted Hoops for this look was a no brainer. I’ve missed wearing them as these are my favorite hoops and my fave earring from the first collection.
Kept my trinkets in the Brandon Blackwood ESR Bag and strut through the day in Tory Burch heels.
Do you wear neutrals in the summer?
