Dinner On A Boat at La Borca Cantina – High Slit Mini Dress

I’m totally not a dinner girl. Brunch is my favorite thing to do. I somehow got convinced to dine at La Borca Cantina at Pier 81 and there were definitely some pros and cons. Best part is I finally got to wear this neutral high-slit mini dress that perfectly fit the occasion.

I accessorized the look with the Befitting Style Marvel White Earrings and white Zara heels.

Brunch is life but when my best friend, Marllory Perez said she prefers to do dinner instead of brunch to celebrate her 31st birthday, its only right that I bend my rules a bit, slip into a neutral mini high slit dress to enjoy dinner on a boat. When I say enjoy dinner, I’m referring to the vibes because the food was a hit or miss. I had the fried cod taco and it was pretty bland. It needed more seasoning. Marllory’s younger sister, Maoly was also less than impressed by the fried cod taco, yet Marllory enjoyed the lobster taco. The salsa in the chips and salsa was unfortunately not pico de gallo. I’m actually not sure what the dip was but it didn’t taste better than pico de gallo. Despite the lackluster tacos, the guacamole and chips were delicious and worth every penny.

Maoly paired her neutral attire with the Befitting Style Sovereign Studs.

Although I don’t like being on the water at night, I enjoyed every moment of the evening (except the tacos of-course).

While many enjoy gazing at the skyline at night, I prefer experiencing it during the day. Celebrating life is one of my favorite things to do and I’m grateful to God for blessing me with such an amazing best friend who is literally a part of my family.
