It wasn’t until last thanksgiving that I learned the term Friendsgiving. I don’t really partake in a friendsgiving as I keep my thanksgiving festivities to dinner with my family, yet I’m not opposed to it. Friendsgiving is great for those who live far away from their family as it gives them a reason to spend thanksgiving with friends. It’s also great for those who like to do both. Friendsgiving doesn’t necessarily mean that you neglect your family as it is usually held separately from thanksgiving day. I see nothing wrong with turning up with your family as well as friends. Why not? It’s a time to give thanks. I consider my friends as a part of my loved ones, therefore I can understand why many get excited to get together and celebrate friendship. Nonetheless, what you would wear to a thanksgiving dinner is different from what you would wear to a friendsgiving. If you have a friendsgiving coming up and you are not sure of what to wear, you’ve come to the right place.
The beauty of friendsgiving is that you get to dress fun and there’s no worries of offending Grandma by showing too much leg so grab a crop top and high waisted shorts. Pair them with thigh high boots and you’ll be sure to celebrate in style.

For those who want to keep it simple but still exemplify glam, a fringe shirt dress will do it! Throw this on with a cream duster and keep it sexy with red velvet thigh high boots and a red bag to match

If you love metallics and glitter as much as I do, then you will love this metallic bodysuit. Just because it comes with a built in choker doesn’t mean you can’t layer on a necklace. Pair the bodysuit with a high waisted blue printed pant along with silver glittered mules. Pop on that red lip and you’ll be sure to dazzle through the night.

Yes getting dress gets easier!
Really cute outfits! Love the red boots and the sparkly mules. I’m not doing a friends giving this year. Usually, we just have a few friends in addition to family for Thanksgiving.
Such cute outfit ideas! Love friendsgiving events and these outfit look great
Thank you!!!
This is my first time to your blog and did you put all these looks together yourself?? Are you a stylist because your taste is spot on! I seriously love all the looks from head to toe but I think number two is my fave!

Hi Kyla! I put all the looks together for Befitting Style. Thank you so much for your kind words.
I didn’t even know this was a thing — probably for college students far off. 🙂
But I love the idea of the crop top and high shorts. Perfect!
Adorable outfit choices!! My friends and I decided that, for this Friendsgiving, we’re all showing up in our sweats! (Stretchy pants are the way to go when indulging in Thanksgiving goodies!)
Sounds comfy. At least you’re all on one accord.
O my, I didn’t know friendsgiving existed. My country doesn’t even celebrate thanksgiving?
Where are you from?
What great outfits! Honestly, I just show up in jeans and a t-shirt. We rarely dress up for meals.
These are all awesome options. I am loving the two with the OTK boots. I think I’ll pull mine out for Friendsgiving.

Yes you definitely should!
Haha I love friendsgiving!! First friendsgiving I ever had was in university. It changes things up a bit for sure!
Maybe one year I’ll have a friendsgiving. I’m learning more and more about it this year and it sounds like something to partake in at least once.
I used to do Friendsgiving when I was in college since I lived 5000 miles away from my family. But I sure didn’t dress this stylish. Lol.
These are all nice outfits which you put together well. The colour variations are great!
Thank you!!!
Our thanksgiving at church is in October so I dressed up real nice
Lovely ideas you’ve shared
My goodness, these are some gorgeous outfits that will go well with any occasion not just thanksgiving. The first 2 costumes are just stunning where the one with red boots is definitely the most favorite among all!
Friendsgiving is always a lot of fun. I’ve been to a few. Love all of the outfits that you have picked out!
Thank you!
Ive never heard of friendsgiving before but those outfits are all amazing 🙂
I love the idea of Friendsgiving. Def. adding it to my list of things to do when we get a house. As far as the outfits go, I’m thinking I’d want to rock look #2 for Friendsgiving
Look 2 is so easy breezy. Good choice. 🙂
