We are a bit into spring at this point and with the weather constantly fluctuating between spring-like temperatures and degrees that may lead some to wear a jacket, one may not be able to stick to the usual spring style. You may be blessed with a beautiful 80 degree sunny day, yet the next day experience a 40 degree gloomy day.
When dealing with weather that lacks commitment, a long sleeve button down shirt is a must. It keeps you warm enough through the cooler days yet cool enough through the warmer days.
A cool way to stay warm is by mixing in a layer. I wore a taupe and black crop top. Because I don’t get cold easily, my button down of choice is sheer and the crop top is cotton on the front and mesh on the back.
Those who may get cold easily can wear tops made of thicker fabric.
Theres nothing like a two tone hat to top off a two tone look.

As we are diving into spring, I’ve been enjoying pairing crop tops and buttons down shirts. It’s actually become one of my style staples since I naturally default to layering. Whats your style staple for the spring?
The way the weather is misbehaving, I don’t think we are going to have spring weather at all. The weather was so cold today that I have to dig into my closet and bring out my winter coat . Tomorrow’s weather will be so low and very cold. How can we be having snow falls in April —unbelievable. The irony of it all is that by the time the weather is looking flourishing, it will be summer. We just have to enjoy whisper weather we have, much better than tonado, hurricane, twister. Love you Oyin and God bless you.
