Hi guys! Spring is the season that enables people to put away their dark toned apparel after coming out of a cold winter and bring out the brights. This post excites me because you know how much I love color!! For those who have been keeping up with me for a while, you can totally understand how color makes me feel. Even the neutral lovers implement a bit of color into their wardrobe just because its spring. Can you blame them?! The sun shines longer during spring, evoking a longer brighter day that just makes you feel good as the brightness brightens up the day.
How else do you celebrate spring other than wearing a pink printed button down shirt and pairing it with an orange 3/4 sleeve sweater?
If you know me personally, then you know that I barely get cold (yes even during the winter) so this sweater was solely worn for the purpose of every other garment that I own: simply because it looks good.
This sweater is such an oldie but goodie as I’ve had it for at least 7 years yet I am unsure of the designer.
I paired this look with one of my favorite khaki shorts. Khaki shorts are easy to pair with a lot of items because of it’s neutral tone. I tend to wear these shorts every summer.
I love to monochrome as much as I love to mix it up therefore I couldn’t resist wearing a pink floral cross body bag which is worn here as a clutch along with a green and black striped shoe which I’m sure you are all used to by now.
Accessories are a must of course!
Button Down Shirt Nanette Lepore
Shorts Banana Republic
Shoes Paper Fox
Bag Kate Spade
How have you been wearing brighter colors since spring started?
