Peachy Monochrome | Fuzzy Sweater & Leather Shorts

Pink is my favorite color of all time so I have to show love to the colors that derive from pink such as peach. Peach is so luscious and dainty that I feel super girly while wearing it. I tend to monochrome when I wear browns and taupe, so with peach being so close to taupe, I ended up monochroming by default.

When I first encountered this sweater, I fell in love with it’s fuzzy texture. I love weird textured fabric so to have this Calvin Klein sweater in peach was super perfect.

When I first learned about Roy Halston, I knew I needed a few pieces from his current collections. He was a pivotal part of fashion during the 1970s and 1980s and inspired some of the greats that I love today such as Calvin Klien, Diane Von Furstenberg, and Ralph Lauren. I originally thought these Halston Heritage leather shorts were culottes when I purchased them earlier this year. As I slipped it on, I realized it’s a bit too short to be culottes, yet it was still good enough to wear to brunch amongst other things.

The shoe and bag are oldies but goodies. I love a good Mary Jane heel and this Ted Baker tote bag is quite different from the clutches that I usually carry but sometimes I like to switch for a tote so that I can hold more items.

Accessorizing with golds and browns, I pulled out my classic ombre brown necklace.

Have you been monochroming lately?
