We’ve already passed the midpoint of March and that means spring is coming in just a few days (3 to be exact but who’s counting anyway?!). Whether you’re one who needs the flowers to blossom and the sun to shine in order to wear bright contrasting colors, or you color block throughout the year like me, these looks will be sure to help you color block into spring easier.
Color blocking with a jumpsuit is so easy! Once you’ve pulled on your yellow jumpsuit, all you need to do is accessorize with a contrasting color. Because pink is so befitting for this look, complete it with pink and gold accessories and you’re all set for brunch, dinner and many other occasions. Don’t forget your pink lippie!

Whether you’re a lover of stripes or other geometric shapes, whip out a turtle neck body con that also happens to be a midi dress! Midi dresses are easier to wear to a variety of occasions than mini dresses. Pair this midi dress with blue and green shoes and bag. Top it off with a red lip and seal the deal with earrings that pull the whole look together by featuring all the colors in the look.

Why only mix colors while color blocking? Mix metals too by pairing gold and silver accessories with a red off the shoulder top as well as a mustard yellow pant which features neutrals and primary colors.

This look is a bit more on the mixing print side than color blocking. For those who want to mix colors on a whole new level, mix prints as well. Grab a green and white floral print crop top and pair it with blue and white palazzo pants. Continue with your mixed prints and textures by pairing it with a confetti clutch and purple and green suede lace-up heels as well as purple earrings.

Which look is your favorite?
I really like all four of these outfits. That color block dress is my favorite 🙂
Great! I’m glad you like it! 🙂
These are all great looks! I love color blocking. Not only is it a poppy style, it helps me hide what I don’t like and get what I do like right out there. LOL
Ha Ha!! Yes!
Color blocking is the best thing that’s happened to fashion since the color black. It’s so awesome for hiding all my problem areas and showing off the parts of me that are still rocking.
Yes definitely!
These are perfect colors for Spring! Love the yellow outfit! 🙂

I LOVE these outfits, but what do you mean by color block? I’m a bit out of the trend loop on this one!
Color blocking is when you wear 2 or more solid colors that contrast one another.
I absolutely love all these looks, your style is right up my alley!! Love how you did the collages!

I like outfit number 2 the best. I don’t wear a ton of dressy clothes. Fashion isn’t my stong point.
No need to wear dressy clothes to be stylish. Enhancing your personal style is all about understanding what you like and confidently owning it! You can look fabulous in athleisure attire.

I am living for the pink shoes and clutch in the first outfit! I am loving all these colors this year.
Yesss hunny! Glad you love it!
I’m digging that clutch in the first outfit. I don’t know if I could pull off a jumpsuit, but I’ve always wanted one. They kinda remind me of my childhood lol
LOL its like a onesie. That’s probably why. But you should totally try it!

Thanks! Glad you love it!
It’s been hot lately, which makes getting dressed in the morning a little harder. I want something cool enough for the five-block walk to the subway, but warm enough for an air-conditioned day at the office.
The yellow jumpsuit is probably perfect for you. It’s breathable, yet it’s long sleeve for slightly cooler temperatures.
I love the look of RED off shoulder top with pairing gold and silver accessories but all of these are stunning.
Thanks love!
I totally love all these looks especially the accessories are pretty amazing.
Awesome!
I can’t wait for the spring and I really need to shop spring outfit! These are gorgeous ideas.

My fave is number 3. Love that top! So pretty!

Awesome glad you love it!!!
My favorite is the last look. I love those tied blue striped pants. They are so cute and great for spring.
Super great for spring!
Takes a pretty high level of confidence to pull off bold colors like these, but I love to see them over more muted tones.
Muted tones are beautiful as well!
I’m so shy when it comes to colors, but that yellow and pink outfit is gorgeous! I love the combo of those two colors.
Thank you!!
The colors we choose to surround ourselves affect us more than we think. As a society, we associate colors with so many different things – they have meanings beyond simple visual stimulation.
Very very true. This is why I choose to wear bright colors throughout the year instead of just spring/summer. Winter is already dull enough. No need to wear all black because of it.
What fantastic colors! Sometimes you have to leap out of that box and get into those colorful apparel. Love it!
Yess girl!
