How To Brighten Up Your Neutrals For Winter

Being in the middle of winter tends to inspire many to stick to neutrals by wearing lots of grey, black, tan and so forth but because I’m a firm believer in wearing colors throughout the year as I love how it uplifts the mood, I want to share with you two simple ways you can wear neutrals and keep it bright during the winter at the same time.

When my clothes are neutral, I like to accessorize with a bold color. Bold colors instantly liven up your look. For this look, I chose the pink Isaac Mizrahi clutch.

It’s one of my favorite go-tos when seeking a great pop of pink to amp up a dull look, but of course, you can always use whichever bold color you prefer to pair your neutrals with.

Another one of my favorite methods of brightening up my neutrals is by adding a pop of color through makeup.

I wanted to rock a pink lippie that resembled my clutch so I chose the Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle “Candy Venom” lipstick. Although it’s not matte to my liking, it’s still a gorgeous shade of pink!

I tried a new brow product that was totally not my shade (but I had to keep it on for 48 hours to review its longevity) so please excuse my unusually lightened brow! LOL! 😀

Lipstick wasn’t enough so I also added the Too Faced 24 hour Shadow Liner on my waterline and topped it off with a wonderful bright blue from a Makeup Forever palette.

The fact that I actually went to an event with those brows took a lot of confidence and commitment lol, but there you have it! Brightening up your neutral looks is super simple through accessorizing and makeup!
