Who said you can’t wear white pants in the rain?! It rained quite a bit on Sunday and despite the rain, I still decided to move forward with a look that featured a color that most dread to wear in such weather conditions. I didn’t think the rain was too heavy so it didn’t cause a problem for me, yet I must admit that I was initially apprehensive about my pants getting wet, essentially flashing my underwear to the world but I had a feeling that was not going to be a problem so I grabbed my black velvet off the shoulder top and proceeded to start the day.
Sunday felt calm as I viewed Georgine’s collection as well as Verdad and B.Michael.
Unphased by the drizzles trickling from the sky, I paired the black velvet off the shoulder top with a white turtleneck underneath.
The rain didn’t last all day (as expected) and I actually appreciate it as it cleared off some snow.
I accessorized with silver and gray necklaces as well as a gray crossbody bag (worn as a clutch) and booties.

NO, I don’t wear white in the rain. It will show all the contour in my shape that I don’t want anybody to see. That is courageous of you. Thanks Oyin and God bless you. Amen
What a great solution for off-the-shoulder during the winter! I would have never thought of layering over a turtleneck.
Yes girl I’m all about wearing spring/summer clothes all year round!
