3 Ways To Wear Plaid To Work

I grew up loving plaid and although I believe it can be styled for any occasion, today we’re focusing on wearing plaid to work. Wearing it to work is easier than ever because of the countless amount of options provided today. Plaid has been in style for as long as I can remember and I don’t think it going anywhere so without further ado, here are three ways to wear plaid to work.

I know you think I’m crazy for even suggesting that you wear this crop top to work but with a camisole slipped right underneath it, it’s totally appropriate! This look is definitely not for a corporate job, but for a job that lets you have fun with your attire. Pair this cropped plaid top with high waist pants that are high enough to keep the midriff from being exposed as well as tassel earrings and a tote bag for all your work needs.

If you love dazzling in mixed prints, this look is for you! If your job permits you to wear bold colors, why not take things up a notch by pairing red white and navy plaid trousers with a silk printed button down shirt. Wear it tucked in and throw in a navy blue printed tote if you dare or simplify the look with a plain tote that’s linked below.

I’ve always loved plaid dresses. Serve school girl chic by placing a white button down top underneath this sleeveless plaid dress. Add a little character to your look by adding a multicolored bucket tote bag as well as a silver waist belt. Grab a pair of silver heels and you’re good to go.

    1. It’s hard to choose between the 3 because I love plaid pants but then I also love every chance I get to wear a anything cropped (pants or top) and I simply can’t get enough of the dress. So I would say I love them all equally but I would get more use out of the plaid pants.
