I got a thing for pretty insides. I love items that are even more beautiful on the inside than they are on the outside. This is the reason I chose to wear this white cape simply because of the detailing it features on the inner lining. Nonetheless, this wool cape kept me much warmer than expected while viewing the Chromat runway show and Club Monaco presentation.
I purchased this cape about a year ago and unlike my other pieces, I didn’t forget about it. It just takes me a while to actually wear jackets because I don’t wear them often.
Infusing cool tone florals within the lining wasn’t the only appealing part of this jacket. Eliza J did a great job with making this cape a different type of cape. Most capes have an opening within the body of the item. This white cape has an opening throughout the sleeves.
I whipped out light pink pants and paired them with an orange bodysuit to compliment the lining.
This look was completed with my favorite embellished choker.
Do you ever wear capes during the winter?
