Sweater Weather | Purple Sweater Dress

What I love most about sweater weather is the idea that we have officially been given permission to switch things up a bit. Many have been expressing their excitement for the fall. It may be due to the fall representing the transitional period between summer and winter. During the fall, it is not too cold neither is it too hot. It’s warm enough to wear an open toe shoe, yet cool enough for a blazer/jacket/sweater.

Because sweater weather begins in the fall, it is a slight reminder to start bringing out the jackets because it’s here to stay until next summer. A new season only means different types of pieces to play with therefore,  I’m very excited for the fall. I absolutely love this sweater dress mostly because it is so comfortable. The loose fit and soft cotton truly adds to its comfortability.

As you may know by now, I absolutely love colors, yet purple was one color that I used to stay away from due to ridiculous thoughts of the color not looking right on me. During summer 2014, I began wearing purple and realized that it is indeed a color that I am able to pull off after all. To be able to wear a purple dress along with a purple clutch is something I would have never done 2 years ago and I’m glad I did. It is always great to step out and try something outside of your comfort zone. You never know if you may end up loving it.
