I concluded Men’s Week by viewing the wonderfully bright General Idea SS18 collection as well as Grungy Gentlemen. It’s impossible for me to end the week without attending some after parties so I two stepped at the MSA party, Public Hotel, and 17 Street Studios. Keeping my theme of simplicity, I threw on a navy blue frock and let my accessories be the key pieces to my look. I was a bit apprehensive about wearing this navy blue dress because I thought it would be too boring as I always shy away from looks that are too simple. But I was running late with no time to put together another look so I decided to make this work!
Sticking to silver accessories, I couldn’t find a silver belt that would go with the look and because I was running out of time to look for one, I grabbed my old silver necklace that is super malleable therefore I’m able to shape it into anything. It went from being a silver necklace to a silver belt. Although I love mixing metals, I stuck to silver for the day by adding a silver necklace and earrings.
I opted for this dress because it’s so dainty and girly! I can easily take it from casual to dressy, depending on how it’s styled.
It’s A-line shape made me feel very dainty and I love dresses that flow in the wind.
I sealed the deal with a pair of glitter heels and a silver pearl clutch.
