The New York weather is rather bipolar as we are able to have 5 degree weather one day with the next day being 55 degrees. Of course like a true New Yorker, I took advantage of it. Because the rain doesn’t stop us, NFYW is still in full effect. If you know me, then you know that I don’t get cold easily, therefore I don’t wear jackets often (yes even in the winter), but once the weather drops to 5 degrees, I am definitely inspired to wear jackets.I’m not sure how long this 55 degree weather will last but as long as its here, I’m enjoying every bit of it.
I viewed the Moskov presentation yesterday and my favorite pieces are definitely for the houndstooth lovers.
Not only did I gag over this houndstooth peplum-like jacket but I also fell in love with the mini poncho with floral fixtures along the shoulders.
The setting truly exuded a dinner party chic environment. Creative Director of Moskov, Khristine Catacutan has, “been designing since she was little” said her mother as we spoke while indulging on crackers. Hard work definitely pays off.
2 more days of NYFW and the gusting wind only made the rain feel so much harder than what it truly is. I wore my platform heelless heels to keep me high off the ground.
Because it was 55 degrees, a jacket was not needed so I threw on my cropped leather vest over a leather-mesh crop top paired with yet another button down top.
