We’re almost at the end of this season. NYFW is almost over as there’s only one day left. On Day 7, I threw on my knitwear and headed to the Adrienne Landau presentation. It’s so great to be able to view her upcoming collection as I tend to swoon over her pieces at Saks. While I love the knitwear I got from somewhere similar to jet online, It’s great to see this collection first hand.
Adrienne is known for her furs and she stayed true to her customary outerwear.
Her collection not only included fur vests and jackets but it also included accessories such as fur bags and hats.
Later on, I went to the Adrienne Landau afterparty where I met Saulo Villela, Artistic Director for the collection and chatted a little about designing. My favorite piece is the fur vest that was paired with the taupe pants (pictured above).
I literally threw on the first pieces that I saw in my closet and ran out. While getting ready, I looked to my left and saw one of the vests that I crocheted and not too far from it were a few shorts so I grabbed one of those. The metallic top was just what I needed as the silver tones attracted the vest perfectly.
I’ve probably worn red more than enough throughout this season but these shorts were the perfect pop of color needed for this look.
Because this vest is two-toned, it produces a different flare from the other vests that I created, making this one of my favorite vests.
Pairing open toe heels with socks is a great way to continue wearing open toe shoes even throughout the winter.
