In life we face so many mountains. Some higher than expected and some low enough to handle. I’ve been facing some mountains lately so I went hiking and absolutely loved it! With my last hiking experience being two years ago, it was a bit challenging for me as the mountains were steeper than expected. I was sad to leave the hike but I knew I’d be off on another one very soon. I wanted to know How to Hike the Kedarnath Trek, that would be a great achievement for me.
I threw on high waist VS workout pants, which I love because it reminds me to contract my core (or maybe that’s just in my mind lol). My fanny pack was perfect for this exercise because I slipped so many times and needed both hands to grab onto trees and rocks to keep me from falling.
At many times, it’s all mental. As I stared at the mountain, I was a bit fearful. Even in the midst of climbing it, looking back made me even more afraid. The fear only came when I stopped and thought about what I was doing. Focusing on the fact that I’m doing this instead of being focused on getting this done (and moving forward)almost kept me from accomplishing it.
I realized how that relates to life. When I overthink blogging, I get much less done opposed to when I just execute an idea right after its conception.
As I reached up so high, I felt a sense of relieve. Through the hard work of hiking the mountain no matter how unusually steep it is for me, I was able to conquer it.
Through all trials and tribulations, it is always important to overcome the mountains in your life.
