As Alexander Wang mostly sticks to neutrals, it was impressive to walk into a room filled with pink lights as I entered the massive 5th Avenue department store of what used to be the Henri Bendel headquarters. With mannequins featuring the new Alexander Wang x Bvlgari handbag collection and the bar serving drinks in glasses that resembled Bvlgari’s perfume bottles, I knew we were in for a special treat!
Performances by Rick Ross, Wale and Normani kept me turnt up. I thoroughly enjoyed this entire event as I felt like a proud sister watching Wale evoke such poetry.
I wore a mini skirt with a mesh sweater. What I love most about this skirt is that it comes with shorts, making it easy to drop it low, pick it up slow and turn up.
I’ve been wearing this Kate Spade “Pop” bag for so many years and I can’t let it go! I had to pair it with Michael Kors platform sandals for comfortability.
I’m excited to see if Alexander Wang x Bvlgari will do more collaborations in the near future. How’s your Fashion Week going so far?
